Job Description:
As a Member Specialist, you will have the opportunity to join an exciting team administering Member Eligibility to Benefit Programs on behalf of Plan Sponsors, by offering exceptional service and expertise while performing administrative updates and client support through interactions.
What will you do:
Provide excellent customer service by processing member eligibility updates meeting our quality standards and turnaround times
Respond to inquiries and investigations from Plan Sponsors or internal partners by email
Support the processing of the Member Data file and error reporting
Perform data validations to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with internal teams such as Business Development, Implementation, IT and Shared Services
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
You bring with you:
Excellent communication skills, including effective listening and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Ability to work collaboratively with peers and other internal business partners
Experience in a customer service environment with strong attention to detail
Strong organization skills, multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills to meet key objectives
Analytics skills
Knowledge of Group Insurance products
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
