About the role
We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Commercial Lines/Specialty Solutions Ops & Planning team!
As a Project Manager your work will have a big impact on the success of our Commercial Insurance strategic projects. People will count on you to manage our Stakeholders' needs, collaborate with our internal partners, and oversee the resourcing and timelines of our projects.
Here are a few ways you'll make a difference:
Oversee the established project vision within the program.
Follow and control the project evolution and communicate the progress made, in line with corporate policies and standards.
Manage project risks including contingency and critical path. Manage problems and risk factors with governance in place.
Contribute to the resolution of issues and suggest alternatives to achieve objectives.
Make sure an appropriate methodology is used throughout the project lifecycle.
Make sure the team has all the necessary tools to do its job.
Qualifications
You have 5 + years in leading projects successfully, negotiating scope, budget and timelines with various stakeholder groups<.
You have strong business, strategic and financial acumen and understand how pieces fit together.
You are assertive and expert positive influence.
You forge strong relationships with stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business.
You have strong written communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations to employees and to executives alike.
You are able to work on multiple projects and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment, maintaining grace under pressure with tight deadlines.
You have the proven ability to lead teams in multiple locations and business areas to accomplish a common goal with a focus on supporting the client.
Experience in P&C Insurance and Agile Planning Methodology is an asset.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
