CDCC offers clearing and settlement services for all MX transactions and certain over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives. CDCC offers central counterparty and clearing and settlement services for all transactions carried out on MX’s markets and on some OTC products.



The Core Clearing Squad is a multidisciplinary team. Sola Clearing is the clearing system responsible for position management, settlement management, and collateral management for CDCC, and operates in TMX ecosystem connected to derivative trading, over-the-counter trading and the fixed income industry. Our initiatives cover adapting to new regulatory frameworks, improving client services or supporting new derivative products.


We are looking for a meticulous and analytical individual, who is interested in derivatives clearing, to join our agile scrum team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with other analysts, architects and developers on creating and performing test cases, on improving our automated test suite and on supporting user acceptance testing with our product delivery team for CDCC.

Key accountabilities

• Analyze Changes – Learn and understand acceptance criteria from different initiatives to adapt and updateour test cases.

• Insuring High Quality – Become instrumental to the team to provide high quality deliverables, core to Canada’s financial sector.

• Continuous Improvement – Help grow our automated test suites, improve our time to market while maintaining quality deliveries.

Must haves

• Bachelor degree (IT-related or Business-related)

• 4+ years of experience in QA

• Experience in system troubleshooting

• Familiar with using UNIX/Linux environments and running command lines

• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required, as this role involves regular interaction with partners and stakeholders in both languages. ​

• Experience with Agile

• Experience in Finance (Derivative Trading, Clearing or Risk Management)

• Experience in scripting (Python)

• Experience in writing Requirements

• Experience in automation framework for web applications (Selenium WebDriver)
