The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Analyst, Cash Management. This job is full-time permanent.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cash Management you will be a member of the Treasury Team, which has accountability for global cash management, payments; bank accounts , FX spots, G/L account reconciliations, and hedging. You will be responsible for daily cash management, cash forecasting and disbursement activities.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the daily cash management process and the Treasury month-end process;
  • Prepare the Company's daily cash position and cash forecast;
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls;
  • Perform foreign exchange transactions;
  • Deal with various bank issues and escalate as required;
  • Deal with and resolve all banking related issues of other departments (A/P, A/R, Cash Application, Payroll);
  • Deal with the various SOX and year-end audit requests (internal and external);
  • Work with and maintain the Treasury workstation;
  • Work with Letters of Credit;
  • Participate in bank system related projects (requires IT knowledge);
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Understand and account for hedging contracts and prepare reports for management;
  • Continuously question the status quo of processes and recommend improvements;
  • Assist the accounting group with daily and monthly management of account reconciliation process;
  • Help Manager in ad-hoc requests (KYC, M&A projects and other);
  • Back-up to the team lead.

  • Professional Experience/Qualifications:
  • You have a Bachelor degree (preferably in Finance) or equivalent experience;
  • You have five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience, preferably within a treasury environment;
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel and Power BI an asset;
  • Knowledge of banking systems;
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset;
  • Knowledge of FIS - Integrity Treasury workstation is a definite asset;
  • Strong communication skills and bilingual in both English* and French (written and spoken). (This is required since as part of this function, you will have to intervene with customers, partners and/or our American subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing)
