Please note that our office is located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and we are looking for candidates who live close to our Montreal office to support a hybrid work environment. An office presence is required two days a week.

🤩 What you'll do

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Pricing Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s pricing strategy to maximize revenue and profitability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze market trends, optimize pricing models, and provide actionable insights to support business objectives. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of market dynamics and financial principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy & Optimization:

  • Analyze market conditions, customer behavior, and business objectives to develop and adjust competitive pricing strategies.
  • Continuously refine pricing models to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Work with the Director of Operations and Head of Finance to validate pricing decisions and monitor their impact on sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business goals.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and stay informed of industry trends to identify opportunities for pricing improvements.
  • Prepare detailed pricing reports, forecasts, and business insights to support informed decision-making.

Support for Key Accounts & Renewals: Assist Sales Directors with account management and renewal preparation. Analyze performance trends and provide actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes.

Pricing for New Features: Develop pricing models for new product features, considering customer usage and cost of sale. Track and adjust pricing based on analytics and performance metrics.

Infrastructure Development: Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to optimize pricing systems and tools, ensuring consistency across all products and services.

🎯 What you'll need

 

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a pricing analyst or similar role, ideally within the technology or software industry.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You understand pricing strategies, market trends, and competitive analysis, with experience optimizing pricing for B2B or SaaS products preferred.
  • You excel in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is a must
  • You communicate data-driven insights and recommendations clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • You are detail-oriented and capable of delivering accurate and high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • You solve problems with a proactive mindset and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
