About the role

We’re looking for a Facilities Technician to join our growing team!

What you’ll do here:

Provide facilities-related support to internal and external customers, coordinate requests, analyze and meet customers’ needs in line with current standards and procedures.

Provide support with building accesses: prepare access cards, take photos, register and confirm accesses.

Work with building representatives and other colleagues to ensure site security and compliance with established rules.

Provide on-site facilities assistance relating to staff relocations.

Provide support with audiovisual equipment and installations.

Help plan and organize the building’s rooms and spaces according to requests received. Help move and set up items.

Perform preventive monitoring of installations and do any necessary repairs for the proper functioning of the site.

Communicate with building representatives regarding maintenance and respond to maintenance requests. Detect anomalies to take preventive measures.

Perform a variety of administrative tasks or relevant mandates in accordance with current guidelines and requirements.

Prepare, process and ship all merchandise and documents that are being sent externally, making sure to choose the appropriate courier company.

File documents according to the established filing system to simplify timely access to documents.

Write reports, notices, letters and other required documents.

Perform other related duties as needed.

What you bring to the table:

Three to five years of experience in a similar position.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French.

Customer-driven.

Ability to work with thoroughness and integrity.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Focus on excellence.

Good organizational skills.

Knowledge of commonly used software, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook), Internet Explorer.

No Canadian work experience required; however, you must be eligible to work in Canada.
