Reporting to the Controller - Support Centers, the incumbent contributes to the efficiency of the Finance department and more specifically supports the Strategic Team - Support Costs. This team plays a key role as the financial partner of the support centers, and is actively involved in the company's financial accounting and the production of its financial statements.

The Finance team of the Master Group, a major company, is undergoing a major transformation. It is integrating various IT tools, such as a new ERP and financial reporting software. We are therefore looking for a motivated analyst, eager to contribute, grow and collaborate to develop and improve the accounting and financial practices under his/her responsibility, in line with best business practices. What you will accomplish with us:

1. Financial accounting:
- Responsible for the CAPEX file, monitoring the proper accounting of tangible and intangible assets, producing the fixed asset continuity schedule and calculating depreciation.
- Responsible for prepaid expenses, ensuring proper accounting.
- Responsible for bank files, debt schedules and SWAPs, calculating interest and investments, and ensuring their proper accounting.
- Responsible for the FX file and ensure its proper accounting.
- Responsible for IT expense files.
- Responsible for tax files.
- Participate in the closing of accounting periods: variance analysis, period-end entries and reconciliation of accounts under his/her responsibility.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance of items/types of transactions under his/her responsibility.
- Support the Controller - Support Center in the production of monthly financial statements.
- Improve/optimize current processes and methods, integrate new practices into new ERP.
- Support external audit processes

2. Finance Partner:
- Act as finance partner (FP&A) for assigned support centers, financial and management reporting, monthly monitoring and support to support centers during important financial decisions.
- Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with the department heads under his/her responsibility to develop accurate and achievable budgets, and challenge submitted amounts.
- Actively participate in the improvement and optimization of partnership processes.
- Participate in the implementation of and compliance with internal control and related procedures and policies.

What You Bring to Our Team:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting specialization or Bachelor's degree in accounting science.
- 5 years' relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and its advanced functions.
- Willingness to use Microsoft BI and Power tools.
- General knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems.
- CPA member or in the process of obtaining one.
- Fluency in English and French.
