The bigger picture

We’re looking for an intelligent and savvy accounting professional to come on board as a part-time Dealer Finance Accountant supporting our Credit Union Dealer Finance department. Our ideal candidate has experience remitting monthly corporate taxes, reconciling GLs, preparing journal entries as well as monthly and annual financial reporting.

The mission of CUDF is to support the automotive needs of members and Credit Unions throughout areas served allowing a member to shop at almost any Auto or RV dealer throughout the province and have the loan be set up through their local Credit Union branch.

How you’ll be spending your time

  • Remitting monthly corporate tax on behalf of CUDF to the Canada Revenue Agency
  • Reviewing and reconciling corporate GLs
  • Preparing monthly journal entries for CUDF and ONCUDF
  • Preparing and presenting the CUDF and ONCUDF Annual Operating Budget to the CUDF and ONCUDF Board of Directors, which includes preparing annual supporting documentation as requested by MNP
  • Developing and presenting forecasting models for consideration by various stakeholders and potential business partners

The experience you bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial environment, with 2 years’ experience in a complex financial environment
  • Completion of degree or diploma in Business Administration or Certificate (Finance, Accounting)
  • Completion of or working towards professional Accounting designation (CFA, CPA) or MBA considered an asset

Hourly range

$42.14 - $56.20 with 13% Short Term Incentive Target
