We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team. This position leads a financial management unit in the preparation of high-level financial analysis to support Senior Management in resource allocations, budget briefing materials and Legislative returns. The manager oversees monitoring, planning and coordinating the preparation and submission of budgets, expenditures, financial plans and provides financial information required for decision making at various levels in the organization.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
  • Experience in financial management, including preparation, analysis, and reporting of operational and capital budgets in a complex organizational environment;
  • Significant experience in supervising and managing a team, including workload planning, performance evaluation, and professional development;
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, program managers, and external auditors;
  • Understanding of government budgeting processes, variance analysis, and year-end financial activities.
  • Recognized accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CGA etc.) or working toward this would be considered an asset
